Matthew 5:46-47

If you love those who love you, what reward will you get?
Are not even the tax collectors doing that?
And if you greet only your brothers,
what are you doing more than others?
Do not even pagans do that?

(NIV)

It is so easy to be doing the right stuff, for all of the wrong reasons. If we are loving our neighbors that we like, or are being kind because of the benefit, then we are no different than those who are not part of God's kingdom.

The citizens of the kingdom show the love of Christ to all, especially to those who do not "deserve" it.

Ask yourself today, "who do you show love to?"
