I know every bird in the mountains,
and the creatures of the field are mine.
This is more a continuation of the previous verse, but I would like to point out the closeness of this ownership. Notice that He not only owns all, but He knows all. Even the birds up in the mountains, He knows each one.
This reminds me of the passage where Jesus tells us that not one sparrow will fall without His knowledge.
We serve an intimate, personal God who has knowledge and ownership of all things. He is truly worthy of our praise.
