Sometimes i think they're mixing up judging with making a judgement or being discerning. we have to discern, or judge, right from wrong. <BR/>i have a friend who shared some interesting insight about this verse. The friend has a relative who's always trying to "keep up with the Joneses" in certain respects, and thinks the relative is driven by how he feels judged by "the Joneses." Because the relative judges others on this point, he feels they are judging him. Whew! the energy and angst that's wasted because of the judging!!<BR/>Anyway, i think it might help some of us to remember the verse this way: "don't judge harshly or you'll also be judged harshly," or "judge with kindness and you'll be judged with kindness."<BR/>And i suppose that's wordy enough from me.
