Nor did we seek glory from people, whether from you or from others, though we could have made demands as apostles of Christ. (1 Thessalonians 2:6 - ESV)
Paul continues to distinguish himself from the traveling speakers of his day. His goal was not glory from people. He is not seeking the praise, popularity, or approval of people. He clarifies though, that he could have, as an apostle, made some demands for support... but he hasn't done even that.
